Job Description:
American Medical Response (AMR) seeks a dedicated and skilled
911 Paramedic to join our team, providing critical emergency
medical services in various communities. As a vital part of our
emergency response team, the successful candidate will deliver
high-quality pre-hospital care, including assessment, triage, and
treatment, using state-of-the-art equipment and protocols. This
role is crucial for preserving patient lives in emergency
situations, offering a challenging and rewarding work environment.
Respond to emergency calls promptly and provide medical evaluation
and care. Perform medical procedures such as IV insertion,
intubation, medication administration, and cardiac monitoring.
Assess patient condition and determine appropriate medical
interventions. Coordinate with other emergency medical team members
and healthcare facilities. Maintain accurate medical records and
document patient care services. Operate and maintain ambulance
equipment and supplies. Participate in continuous training and
professional development sessions. Advanced knowledge of emergency
care principles and practices. Proficiency in using medical
equipment like defibrillators, ventilators, and monitors. Strong
decision-making and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and
written communication skills. Ability to perform effectively in
high-stress situations. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Paramedic Certification. Basic
Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
certification required. State-specific Emergency Medical Technician
(EMT) Certification.
