Job Description:
Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicines, Division
of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery is recruiting a full-time oral
maxillofacial surgeon to be Chief of Oral Health, a Division of the
Department of Surgery. This position involves participation in an
active full scope oral & maxillofacial surgery practice and
administrative oversight for OMFS and Dentistry. Responsibilities
include administrative oversight of the clinical practices,
didactic and clinical training at the resident level, outreach,
philanthropic efforts and may include involvement with community
organizations. This position will also include support and
promotion of clinically based research. Endowments exist for
academic pursuits. The Division has oversight for a general
practice residency as well as the oral and maxillofacial surgery
residency. Candidates must have a DDS/DMD degree and have board
certification in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery. Credentials and
experience should be consistent with an academic appointment at the
rank of Associate Professor or Professor. This opportunity offers a
competitive compensation and benefits package including:
Competitive starting compensation between $159,000 - $985,945
