Job Description:
Gynecologic Oncology Faculty – OBG095 Salary range: Assistant
Professor, $332,189 - $382,264 per year. Associate Professor
$407,173 - $447,660 per year. The University of Chicago’s Section
of Gynecologic Oncology seeks full-time faculty members at the
associate or assistant professor rank. The appointee will be
responsible for comprehensive clinical care to gynecologic oncology
patients, including advanced minimally invasive and open surgical
techniques as well as medical therapies, including standard of care
and therapeutic clinical trials. Appointee’s clinical effort,
including call duties, will be dedicated to supporting the
section’s practices in New Lenox and UChicago/Advent Health in
Hinsdale, Illinois. For procedures and patients suitable for
tertiary support, the appointee is encouraged to operate at our
main campus in Hyde Park, Chicago. The University of Chicago
Comprehensive Cancer Center clinical trials network currently
offers a robust portfolio of Phase I-III trials at the above
locations. With requisite experience, the appointee will have the
opportunity to assume a leadership role in our clinical trials
program. Other duties will include teaching and supervising
trainees and students, as well as scholarly activity. Graduate
Medical Education (GME) teaching opportunities are available at our
main campus in Hyde Park, Chicago, as well as UChicago/Advent
Health Hinsdale. Compensation (including a generous package of
fringe benefits) is dependent on academic rank and qualifications.
