About the Position

Position: Logistics Account Executive

Location: On-site Chicago

Status: Full-Time

Base Salary: TBD+ Unmatched & Uncapped commission at 30% & 40%

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective clients.
  
• Understand customer needs and identify business opportunities.
  
• Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  
• Achieve sales and revenue targets by implementing effective strategies.
  
• Proactively make 75 daily calls to find, close, and establish growing relationships with customers to build your book of business from the ground up.
  
• Negotiate with shippers and carriers to manage daily shipments to ensure pickup and delivery is on time, 24/7/365.
  What we Need From You
  
  • Bachelor s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. College degree is preferred, but not necessary to be a successful sales representative.
    
  • Minimum 3 years of logistics sales experience required.
    
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas.
    
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and customer service skills.
    
  • Be on time, 7:00 AM
    
  • Be high energy and have a positive attitude.
    
  • Have a strong work ethic, stronger than anyone you know.
    
  • Be Coachable.
    
  • Organizational and time-management skills.
    
  • The determination to build your book of business by being harder working and more disciplined than anyone you know.
    
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to be agile and handle conflict professionally.
    
  • Sales experience is preferred, but not necessary to be a successful sales representative.
