Our customer in Skokie, IL is searching for HVAC Mechanics. We prefer skilled technicians with mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment! Salary ranges from $30 to $35 per hour.. Pay Rate: $30.00 - $35.00 / hour Duties: Repair and maintain a variety of systems including: compressed air, boiler, fume incineration, vacuum, air conditioning and energy management systems. Assist to service and maintain facility well-being, including roofs, walls, floors, piping systems, etc. Assist other building maintenance staff as needed. Position Requirements: Attend safety meetings and process improvement discussions. Technical skills to operate hand and power tools in a maintenance environment. Work independently or as a team with minimal supervision. Read and understand instructions at a HS level competency. Ability to perform mathematical calculations required for repairing and fabricating equipment. Work conditions may be uncomfortable, hot, cold, dirty, dusty, and noisy for periods of time. Requirements: Background Check, Drug Test, Stand for Shift Duration, Must be at least 18 years old.Able to Lift 50 pounds., required education: HS Diploma or GED.
