This position will be instrumental in generating robust metrics by analyzing financial and operating data and by evaluating vertically integrated business units. This position will work closely with senior team members, both to navigate the business and to ensure analytics are applied to drive best practices. Responsibilities:Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide recommendations across a portfolio of 100+ propertiesGenerate monthly/quarterly reporting packages for multiple business units (e.g., ops, inventory)Guide monthly/quarterly financial review calls covering variances to budget, red flags, etc. Learn nuances of business operations, and build/refine KPIs used day-to-dayManage the preparation of annual budget templates and financial forecastsHelp improve processes and standardizationSupport debt financing and refinancingBuild relationships, and ultimately become able to consult throughout the organizationOther Responsibilities:Support building and maintaining financial modelsUpdate rent study analytics, monitor macroeconomic trends Provide analytics for senior management concerning real estate taxes, service contracts, etc. Complete ad hoc requests and analysisAbility to travel up to 25%QualificationsQualifications:Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Business, or similar field4-7 years of work experience; previous real estate experience is requiredExcellent analytical skills; quantitative-minded, problem solverStrong work ethic, personal integrity, and ability to meet deadlinesExcellent proficiency with Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsFLSA CLASS: ExemptREPORTS TO: Director of AssetSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None JOB CATEGORY: PortfolioPOSITION CLASS: AdminPOSITION CODE: FAFPACOMPETENCIES:Treats everyone with respect, compassion and kindness Builds internal respect and loyalty with customers.
