Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY:Responsible for providing information technology maintenance and supporting for IT-related activities.Accountable for ensuring continuity of computer services for users through technical planning, central ITcollaboration and project coordination. This position will have a dotted line to the Deputy CIO for IT Operationsand Services for TCUS.Local expertise:? Provide IT support to staff, teachers, and students in a friendly and timely manner? Set up new user profiles, email accounts, etc.? Set up hardware and install and configure software and drivers? Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in person, remotely and via phone? Maintain and repair technological equipment or peripheral devices? Keep records of repairs and fixes for future reference? Performs other duties as assignedIn collaboration with Touro central IT:? Install and upgrade anti-virus and Touro-specific software to ensure user and network security? Support project work of varying complexity and priority, overseeing all phases of projects fromconception to completion and ensuring that projects are completed within budget and on time? Perform regular upgrades to ensure systems remain updated? Interact with department and management throughout the organization to resolve escalated issuesand/or provide recommendations related to business, technical, budgetary concerns? Act in alignment with organizational policy and system functionality while meeting user needs? Assist with upgrading information and data security? Assist with the network administration under the guidance of TCUS networking teamREQUIREMENTS:Education, Preparation, and Training+ Bachelor's degree (preferred) or above in related field+ Three years' experience in computer support and maintenance+ Knowledge of networking a plusSkills+ Strong organizational skills+ Superior interpersonal skills+ Ability to work independently and prioritize the work load+ Ability to problem solve+ Excellent written and oral communication skills+ Attention to detail+ Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentPhysical Demands+ Extensive use of computers+ The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; handle small equipment; and ability to access tight+ Able to lift up to 40Computer Skills+ Knowledge of operating systems, networking, hardware and software commonly used in schools and business environments+ Microsoft Office and Office 365+ Demonstrable knowledge, experience and expertise in key technology disciplines used within HTC/TOURO+ Understanding of IT principles and an ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to a varied audience+ Strong sense of discretion and ability to maintain confidentialityTravel+ N/AQUALIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.
