Explore your specialties by joining us as Production Operator Next possible start date - Harvey WHAT YOU CAN EXPECTThe Production Operator performs all essential duties in accordance with the Skills Matrix with particular emphasis on safety, quality, and productivity. Some of the key functions include but are not limited to:Completes related paperwork, reports, and support functions.Performs work in accordance with the production schedule provided by inventory planning.Informs supervisors of any significant problems, issues or concerns.Completes production records and inventory transactions. Updates process documentation (batch sheets) as work processes are completed. Updates raw material inventory using computer software (SAP).Follows established production procedures and instructions. Follows quality and safety standards. Meets production deadlines. Cleans, secures, and maintains work areas. Participates in various EHS or other team activities.Performs shipping and receiving functions.Performs any operations related functions within business needs and Skills Matrix. WHAT WE EXPECTHigh School Diploma or equivalent required. Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical Technician experience is desired.Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experienceFork Truck Certification desiredHAZMAT training (Hazwoper, etc) or experience desirable, but not requiredMust be able to read and performs manufacturing work instructions.Strong communication and interpersonal skillsMaintains a strong attention to detail and accuracy when performing all aspects of the jobSolid troubleshooting and decision-making skillsAbility to perform basic computer functionsStrong mechanical abilityTeam work skillsComputer skills such as SAP knowledge and Microsoft Office a plus WHAT WE OFFERFuchs offers a challenging and rewarding working environment where employees are encouraged to develop and grow as professionals.
