Job Title: Impact Specialist Status: Full-Time

SUMMARY
RESPONSIBILITIES
Include the following, but are not limited to:
IMPLEMENT KEY INITIATIVE STRATEGIES AND INITIATIVES
Collaborate with Impact Managers and Community Impact Department
(CID) management to execute the strategies needed to meet the Key
Initiative goal outcomes in United Way's four-county service
area.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree required. 2-4 years of experience. Experience in
grant management, program/project management, preferred including
experience delivering training. Ability to independently execute
assigned tasks from beginning to completion with minimal guidance.
Understanding of non-profits, human services, and community needs.
Demonstrated success in problem solving. Ability to work well
independently and within a team including staff and volunteers with
strong interpersonal skills. Ability to present ideas and proposals
in a clear, concise, motivational manner, both in writing and
verbally. Ability to recommend and implement policy/procedural
changes and recordkeeping skills. Proficient in working with
computerized software, such as Microsoft Word, Excel or other
similar programs.

Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills. Ability to
read and interpret general business periodicals, professional
journals, or technical procedures; write reports, business
correspondence, and procedure manuals; effectively present
information and respond to questions from groups of managers,
customers, other employees, and the general public; communicate and
work effectively with volunteers and others in the community
representing a broad range of interests and backgrounds; respond to
common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies,
or members of the business community.
