Staff Management - SMX in Skokie, IL is searching for HVAC Mechanics. We prefer skilled technicians with mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment! Salary ranges from $30 to $35 per hour. .

Pay Rate: $30.00 - $35.00 / hour

Duties: Build, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot dies in tool room and punch press locations. Build, assemble and debug new production dies. Perform all levels of maintenance on existing dies; perform both planned and unplanned work within estimated times. Perform timely and accurate changeovers per production requirements. .

Position Requirements: Knowledge of stamping dies, maintenance and troubleshooting. Perform trigonometric calculations to repair, maintain, build and revise all types of tooling. Ability to use a variety of inspection tools such as micrometers, indicators, vernier calipers, as well as ability to safely operate hoists, hand trucks, power trucks, and die trucks, as needed; licensed in power truck operation. Work conditions may be uncomfortable, hot, cold, dirty, dusty, and noisy for periods of time. Requirements: Background Check, Drug Test, Stand for Shift Duration, Must be at least 18 years old.Able to Lift 50 pounds., required education: HS Diploma or GED.

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated to range between $30.00 - $35.00 per hour.
