Position Highlights:Position: Ultrasound Technologist I
Location: Evanston HospitalFull Time/Part Time: Part-Time
(20hrs/wk)Hours: rotating shifts: main shift is mid-shift
1:30pm-10PM. Other shifts possible 9:30am-5PM, 7AM-3:30PM. On-Calls
approximately 4 per month.Required Travel: May need to travel to
other sites.What you will need:Education: High School Diploma, GED
or equivalent work experience required. Completion of formal
ultrasound program approved by the American Registry of Diagnostic
Medical Sonographics required. Certification: CPR required.
Registry eligible required; prefer Registered
UltrasonographerExperience: Previous experience desirable Skills:
Excellent communication and computer skillsWhat you will do:Perform
ultrasound examPrepare patients for exam: obtains and records
history, explains procedure, positions patients and ensures their
comfortInterprets ultrasoundCleans and maintains equipmentSchedules
