Who You Are

A Mortgage Loan Processor processes residential mortgage loans, achieves production and quality metrics, and works as a liaison between the loan officer, borrower, underwriter, and funding. You'll prepare and review loan files to ensure completeness of submission and supporting documents, as well as compliance with underwriting and investor guidelines. You'll also monitor overall loan processing cycle time to ensure the loan closes on time. Communication and resolution of issues that delay loan closing timeline is critical.

This position requires excellent customer service and financial skills. Mortgage Loan Processors are well-versed in the loan origination process and have excellent research skills. In addition, interpersonal and financial skills are critical.

In this role, you will...

* Demonstrate a working knowledge of underwriting requirements for various mortgage insurance companies and programs.
* Possess an ability to work independently.
* Display an ability to analyze financial information.
* Show excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Build strong relationships with loan officers, production, underwriting, closing and other internal and external partners.
* Have an understanding of the valid documentation needed to process consumer mortgage applications.
