Most importantly, you want to make a difference in the lives of those who need your help while build meaningful relationships with each one as a Caregiver. Your experience whether personal or professional is valuable. Have you supported a loved one in their time of need or done volunteer work in your community? Many of our clients speak English and Polish, as well as other multiple other languages. If you are bilingual (able to speak English and Polish) and are interested in working with those who need help in their home, consider being a Caregiver. What does a Home Instead Caregiver do? As a Home Instead CAREGiver you would provide support, in the home of the client, with basic household duties (laundry, light housekeeping), meal preparation, support with grooming, dressing, personal care, bathing, as well as incontinent care (as needed), companionship, and activities within the client's capabilities. What do we offer you? Home Instead CAREGivers are working with safety in mind. Company supplied Personal Protective Equipment (gloves, masks, gowns, eye protection, hand sanitizer) is in full use and required as needed while on a shift. Paid training on use of PPE, Infection Control and Household Cleaning is being provided. And at this time we are not taking care of COVID-19 positive clients. In support of our Caregivers we host voluntary Caregiver Peer to Peer Zoom chats where they can seek support, offer support and connect with each other.
