communication throughout. SHIFT: 1st Shift: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, Mon
- Fri SUMMARY: Work as a member of a cross-functional team in the
picking, packing, bagging, assembling and shipping of customer
orders within a warehouse environment. Will be responsible for
meeting all safety, productivity, and quality standards set by the
Company. Will use warehouse management software to perform some day
to day tasks. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Order
Picker/Processor Dock Worker Packaging Operator 1. Domestic order
picking/processing. 1. Carton consolidation tasks. 1. Complete
assembly functions per Bill of Materials. 2. Export order picking.
2. Prepare shipping paperwork. 2. Table and bagging operation. 3.
Small Package order picking. 3. Operate a lift truck. 3. Use of
sealers. 4. Special order picking. 4. Complete load and ship tasks.
4. Assemble parts on automated packaging line. 5. Order packing. 5.
Use warehouse management software. 5. Print and apply labels. 6.
May perform corrugated stock replenishment. . 6. Setup packaging
materials. 7. Operate wave picker. 8. Use warehouse management
software. * Follows the Quality Management System requirements as
outlined in the process notes on the press card, the applicable QMS
procedures and work instructions; and suggests ways for continual
improvement. * Promptly reports quality problems and shuts down the
equipment if unable to resolve. * Maintains a clean and orderly
work area. * Follows EHS rules and regulations, participates in
safety meetings and training, and suggests ways for continual
improvement. * Promptly reports personal injuries and unsafe
conditions and helps to resolve them. * Performs related duties as
assigned. Required Skills COMPETENCIES REQUIRED: Order
Picker/Processor Dock Worker Packaging Operator 1. Earn picking
certification. 1. Earn dock certification. 1. Basic math skills;
able to add and subtract. 2. Understands FPD quality standards. 2.
Understands DC quality standards. 2. Ability to read and understand
procedures, work instructions, safety rules and warning signs. 3.
Can follow instructions, prioritize work, and know warehouse
layouts. 3. Can follow instructions, prioritize work, and know
warehouse layouts. 3. Manual dexterity in order to operate machines
and handle parts. 4. Familiar with PC and warehouse management
software. 4. Familiar with PC and warehouse management software. 4.
Can identify non-conforming product (quantity and quality). 5. Able
to use material handling equipment. 5. Licensed to operate a
forklift. 5. Know stock locations. 6. Knows correct packaging
guidelines. 6. Able to use material handling equipment. 7.
Understands shipping paperwork process. * Willing and able to cross
train on all three FP Diesel positions including the Order
Picker/Processor, Dock Worker, and Packaging Operator. * Ability to
read and understand press cards, procedures, work instructions,
safety rules and warning signs. * Basic reading and writing skills
in English. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: * Ability to lift and carry up
to 45 lbs. on the daily basis. * Ability to make repetitive motions
when operating machines and handling parts. * Ability to walk, move
about, stoop, bend, and climb (ascent and descent). * Ability to
reach with arms and hands to retrieve parts from picking bins. *
Normal or corrected vision necessary to read directions, counts
parts, and read numbers accurately. * Ability to stand for an eight
hour shift or more including overtime. WORKING CONDITIONS: * Works
in areas that can be uncomfortable due to noise, odors, and
temperature extremes. * Works regularly with machines where
carelessness could result in cuts, bruises, burns or muscle pulls.
Serious injuries can be avoided if established safety precautions
are followed. * Works with regularly with sharp parts and material
