IRSG, a division of Pipp Mobile Storage Systems, an industry leader of Inventory Processing and Transport Solutions, is seeking a Shipping Coordinat or to join their team in Itasca, IL. If you have a forklift certification and at least 1 year of experience handling shipping responsibilities (including international shipping), don't miss this opportunity! As a member of the IRSG team, you can expect: Compensation : $25/hour - $30/hour plus discretionary annual bonus. Excellent Work Environment: Clean, organized warehouse where Safety is 1 priority. Essential duties & Responsibilities: Coordinate and prepare pick and pack orders for shipment on a daily basis. Ensure correct items, quantities and on-time shipment. Assist in preparing shipping documents by recording and ensuring proper packaging, pallet and carton counts, weights and dimensions. Ensure all packing slips and labels and shipment labels are on all packages as noted by the Shipping Coordinator. Ensure all packing slips, labels and pro numbers are affixed to outbound LTL shipments as noted by the Shipping Coordinator. Load Outbound truck shipments as needed. Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment by ensuring proper product placement, accurate identification and removing unnecessary equipment or supplies. Perform daily spot checks on picked jobs Participate in cycle counts Participate as a key focal in year-end physical inventory counts. Participate as a key focal in year-end physical inventory counts. Develop an extensive knowledge of IRSG products, packaging procedures and warehouse layout in order to assume additional responsibilities in the future.
