Impact:Concentric Integration provides full-service automation of
water/wastewater systems (including design, implementation, and
support). We strive to advocate for our clients and form
long-lasting partnerships based on trust. Concentric provides
tailored solutions to meet the specific needs of each client.The
Ignition Developer will oversee the design, testing,
implementation, and training of HMI and SCADA systems, which
commonly interface with process instrumentation, PLCs, and OITs.
These systems incorporate on-premises and cloud infrastructure and
offer local and remote access. In this role, you will collaborate
with team members and clients to apply your expertise and deliver
impactful solutions.What your day-to-day will look like:
- Work closely with team members and clients to create and
implement solutions.
- Assume responsibility for projects and ensure they are
completed on time, fulfilling all project requirements.
- Offer technical expertise and guidance to team members and
clients.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement
solutions to boost efficiency and productivity.
- Keep current with the latest Ignition developments and
integrate them into projects.
- Maintain a high level of quality and attention to detail in all
work.Education Requirement:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Electrical
Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology or related field
from an ABET-accredited program.Must-haves, what you will bring:
- 5+ years' experience designing and developing HMI and SCADA
systems using Ignition.
- Proficient in programming languages like SQL, Python, Java, and
others.
- Experienced working with SQL databases, writing medium to
complex queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Skilled in developing Ignition systems with the following
expertise, but not limited to:
- Follow ISA 101 High-Performance HMI Design Standard.
- Create user interface displays in Perspective for both desktop
and mobile applications.
- Leading and supporting projects of varying sizes and
implementations.
- Connect to diverse data sources and/or equipment.
- Understand ISA 18.2 Alarm Management Standard and alarm
notification in Ignition.
- Developing compliance and custom reporting.
- Strong understanding of PLC programming and IT/OT
infrastructure.
- Experience with communication protocols Ignition supports, such
as MQTT, Modbus, and DNP3.
- Effective oral, written, & digital communication skills are
required.
- Ability to interact effectively with team members and assist in
client communications.
- Excellent organization and documentation skills for efficient
task and time management.
- Capable of identifying and resolving problems promptly.
- Willingness to engage in self-development
activities.Compensation: The pay range for this role is $95,000 to
$115,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors
that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to
skill set, depth of experience, and certifications.You matter! Our
