Join our team at our Skokie location. The Payroll Accounting Clerk duties involve a wide range of support activities inside our finance department. Primarily working with different departments to process payroll on a weekly basis making sure employees are paid accurately. Providing timely and accurate invoices to our customers by planning, directing, and supervising the billing related work activities of all employees at the operations level.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with billing customers and organizing invoices
• Assisting preparation for weekly payroll
• Accounts Receivable
• Working with Charter department to ensure accurate payments and billing.
• Preparing month-end billing
• Supervising customer overpayment, underpayment, /on account cash, etc. with branch managers.
• Other duties as assigned
  
  Requirements:
  
  • 2 years experience in a professional environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word
  • Experience working with Workday is preferred
  • Strong communication (oral and written), and listening skills
  • Ability to successfully work as an individual or as part of a team
