Job Description Job Description Salary: Overview We are seeking
a dedicated, detail-oriented and experienced Dental Assistant to
join our dynamic dental team! The ideal candidate will play a
crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and support the
dental practice's daily operations. As a Dental Assistant, you will
assist the doctor during procedures, ensure patient comfort, and
maintain a clean and organized clinical environment.
Responsibilities Assist the doctor during examinations and
procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials.
Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and materials following
infection control protocols. Take digital x-rays, create treatment
plans, and enter progress notes. Maintain accurate medical
information, including health histories, med lists, treatment
plans, and progress notes. Educate patients on oral hygiene
practices and post-op instructions. Manage appointment scheduling
and patient flow to optimize office efficiency. Ensure compliance
with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality. Support
the practice in maintaining an aseptic environment through proper
infection control measures. Skills Proficient in charting with the
doctor and RDH with a high level of dental terminology. Knowledge
of infection control standards and aseptic techniques in a dental
clinic setting. Must be familiar with different imaging techniques
relevant to dentistry- periapical, panoramic, and bitewing.
Expanded duties desired- provisional fabrication and cement,
gingival retraction. iTero scanning experience helpful but not
required. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with
patients and team members. Ability to work efficiently in a
fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Join
