experienced Registered Nurse with Med/Surg expertise to provide
essential patient care at a Level 1 Trauma Center. This contract
position offers a consistent night shift schedule working three
12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, allowing for a focused
work-life balance without block scheduling constraints. Working
every other weekend ensures time for personal pursuits while
maintaining critical staffing coverage. Responsibilities include
delivering quality nursing care in an acute Med/Surg setting while
demonstrating flexibility to float within the facility as needed.
Collaborating with the care team at a respected trauma center
requires clinical skill, adaptability, and a patient-focused
approach. Accurate documentation using Cerner and adherence to
facility policies enhance patient outcomes and safety. Key
Qualifications / Desired Experience: Minimum 2 years recent acute
Med/Surg nursing experience Active RN license and BLS certification
required; NIHSS certification required; ACLS preferred Ability to
float across units per facility requirements Comfortable with night
shift hours and weekend rotation Reside within approximately 75
miles of the Des Plaines area preferred Location Overview:Des
