Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Respiratory Therapist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 02/16/2026 Duration: 12 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $ 2412.00 Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist - Respiratory Therapist Job Details: • Provide respiratory therapy services across the full lifespan of patients including pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics • Maintain 1:1 patient ratios • Perform technical procedures including tracheostomies, nitrous oxide procedures, proning techniques, and ECMO • Conduct ABG draws and spontaneous breathing trials • Work with critical care patients and provide ventilator-associated pneumonia prevention • Utilize EPIC electronic health record system • Required certifications: Active BLS and ACLS (AHA), PALS, NRP, and RRT (CRT also accepted) • Active Illinois license required • Minimum 2 years of experience with full lifespan patient care required • Dress code requirement: Charcoal gray scrubs • Free parking available Facility: This medical center is a comprehensive healthcare facility that provides advanced respiratory therapy services across all patient populations.
