in Skokie, Illinois, 60076! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession:

Must-Have: - Previous Charge Experience - Patient Ratio Experience
- Charting System Experience (Epic) Description: The position
involves caring for complex spine patients in a stepdown unit. The
nurse will provide care during night shifts, three times a week.
There is no on-call requirement for this position. Weekend work is
required every other week. Floating may be required within other
medical-surgical and ICU units. Holiday work is also required. The
patient-to-nurse ratio is 2:1. First-time travelers are accepted
with a minimum of one year of experience. ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
certifications are required. Locals are accepted with no radius
restrictions. Staffing includes an interdisciplinary support team.
The unit cares for adult and geriatric patients with a daily census
of approximately 5. Special equipment in use includes lift devices,
temperature control devices, fluid warmers, and vein finders.
Candidates must be willing to float between multiple facilities.
EKG testing is required for ICU, ED, and Med Surg areas during the
first day. Candidates must pass the EKG test on the first attempt
