Physician Assistant, Ortho/Nights, SkokiePosition Highlights:

* Position: Surgical Physician Assistant, Orthopedics
* Location: Skokie Hospital
* Full Time/Part Time: Full Time
* Hours: 40 Hrs, Wednesday-Friday, 6:00p-6:00a, Rotating Saturdays and Holidays
* Required Travel: Occasional travel to NS Legacy sites

What you will need:

* License: Current Physician Assistant License in the State of Illinois required. DEA & Illinois Controlled Substance License required.
* Education: Bachelor degree required; Master degree preferred.
* Certification: CPR certification required
* Experience: One year of Physician Assistant experience preferred
* Skills: Ortho experience a plus

What you will do:

* Provide comprehensive health care services under the direction and supervision of an assigned physician.
* Evaluate, diagnose, and provide treatment to patients specific to their area of expertise.
* Performs therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing and wound care, and managing infection.
* Performs independent evaluation and treatment procedures in emergency situations in accordance with policies established.
