Positions available at Evanston, Glenbrook, Highland Park and Skokie Hospitals. Hiring RNs in Multiple Specialties6 work week-assignments available. In this non-benefited resource role, candidates will be asked to agree to a minimal schedule of 36 hours per week in which they will benefit from having a dedicated Clinical Director and supportive colleagues. Position: ICU Orthopaedic & Spine Location: Orthopaedic & Spine Institute Skokie Experience: Minimum of 2-year Acute Care experience and Ortho/Neuro/Spine experience preferred, and 1-year Critical Care experience required Hours: Night Shift ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will: Independently provides safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for all patient populations on a specific unit. Utilizes the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care. Includes patient and family in the plan of care as appropriate. Maintains regulatory compliance in individual practice. Assumes the responsibility, accountability, and authority for outcomes of nursing care and to make decisions based on their therapeutic relationship with the patient. Guides and directs assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care. Communicates and collaborates with nurses, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
