Staff Nurse, Advanced Care Unit-Skokie,Position Highlights:
* Position: Staff Nurse, ICU - Orthopaedic & Spine
* Location: Orthopaedic & Spine Institute
* Full Time/Part Time: Full Time (36 hours per week)
* Hours: NOC 7:00p - 7:30a
* Required Travel: no
What you will need:
* License: Current professional nursing licensure in the state of
IL required
* Education: Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing
required; BSN required.
* Certification: ONC certification preferred; BLS/CPR required
* Experience: Minimum of 2-year Acute Care experience and
Ortho/Neuro/Spine experience preferred, and 1-year Critical Care
experience required.
What you will do:
* Independently provide safe, effective and compassionate nursing
care for the Orthopaedic & Spine patient population.
* Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and
evaluating the patient plan of care.
* Maintain regulatory compliance in individual practice.
* Assume responsibility, accountability and authority for outcomes
of nursing care.
* Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in
delivering interdisciplinary care.
* Communicate and collaborate with nurses, physicians and other
members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
with continuity of care.
* Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high
quality patient experience.
