essential support to Philanthropy Operations for Covenant Living
Communities & Services. Acts in a high functioning role to all
members of the Office of Philanthropy and community Directors of
Philanthropy by managing a variety of activities and functions of
the organization nationally.
Database Management
- Provide analytics within donor database
- Run queries and reports on a regular basis, and build new
analytical reports
- Conduct weekly gift processing audits and reconciliations
- Provide user support by contacting CRM customer service with
outstanding questions and casesProspect Research
- Provide prospect research and basic portfolio analysis for
Directors of Philanthropy
- Conduct detailed research using online databases, internet
resources and internal databases to analyze, interpret and
disseminate financial, biographical and historical information on
donor prospects
- Produce profiles for cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship
purposesGift Processing
- Complete Gift Processing for communities who are temporarily
without a Director of Philanthropy, and for multiple communities
during times of increased gift volume
- Perform accurate and timely data entry for gifts in eTapestry,
RENXT or other database
- Generate gift acknowledgement correspondence from the Office of
Philanthropy
- On a daily basis and at year-end, for recurring donations
- Inform families of memorial or honor gifts through written
correspondence
- Maintain constituent and tribute records through Donors
Services email
- Journal key gift entries on a recurring basis:
- Employee payroll deduction donations
- AmazonSmile donations by communityFinance
- Update corporate online representation on several websites,
including GuideStar, Charity Navigator, AmazonSmile, etc.
- Update and maintain online presence and representation for
online giving platforms, such as YourCause, Benevity, Thrivent,
etc.
- Act as liaison with Finance, including providing information on
monthly credit card gift reconciliations
- Prepare annual community Form 990 reports for the corporate
financial auditorsMarketing
- Serve as a Marketing liaison; assist in monitoring campus
collateral needs; communicate deadlines and proofread collateral
drafts and documents
- Establish and keep a library of donor and recipient stories,
photos, and other marketing elements
- Draft Crescendo planned giving newsletters, brochures and
templates
- Maintain the calendar for collateral production and key events
(i.e. annual gala events, etc.)Philanthropy Operations
- Monitor and respond to the three Philanthropy mailboxes
(Giving, Gift Processing, Donor Services), and the main
Philanthropy phone line on a daily basis
- Upload files and maintain organization of documents onto
Philanthropy SharePoint site
- Create and maintain an Onboarding and Orientation Manual for
new Directors of Philanthropy, in accordance with the onboarding
spreadsheet
- Serve as the face and initial voice of Philanthropy at the
Corporate Office
- Attend meetings when requested and take minutes for
distribution
- Take and distribute minutes for monthly departmental
meetings
- Handle confidential and/or sensitive information with high
level of discretion
- Participate in special work groups and projects as
directedEDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
Required Degree: Bachelor's degree
Certificate(s):
- Fundraising certification a plusExperience:
- Minimum of one year's experience providing support in a
fast-paced organization.
- Two year's of development or fundraising administrative
experience in a non-profit organization (or related experience) is
preferred.
- Minimum of one year of demonstrated expertise with Blackbaud's
RENXT Pro, eTapestry, or other customer relationship management
(CRM) platform; RENXT Pro preferred
- Experience with Crescendo Interactive is a plus
- Experience in project managementKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND

very diplomatic in personal and phone communication
