We Are Inspired to Serve. Join us! The Vice President, Talent
Acquisition is a key leadership Human Resources role responsible
for the overall success of Human Resources talent acquisition
spanning multiple communities and business models, in wide-spread
geographies across the country. This position will develop and
implement robust strategies to attract and hire qualified
employees, managing a budget of $1-5M. The VP Talent Acquisition
partners with the organization's leaders to enable growth by
assessing resource needs and developing short and long-term talent
acquisition strategic solutions to meet staffing needs. The
position oversees daily talent acquisition operations including
direct management of recruiting managers and talent sourcers to
ensure end-to-end recruiting services internally and externally are
executed and support a strong employment brand.Develop, implement
and manage the day to day operations of a centralized recruiting
department for the organization, with future potential to sell the
service profitably as a shared service to other senior living
organizations.
- Develop and implement a profitable internal model
- Establish KPIs as critical components of recruiting
process
- Develop reward systems that drive KPIs
- Collaborate with communities to successfully assimilate to
centralized recruiting model
- Drive daily results through leadership of recruiters and talent
sourcersDevelop and implement talent acquisition strategies that
enhance the organization's visibility/reputation in key recruiting
marketing
- Develop a 2-5 year recruitment strategic plan
- Oversee growing budget $1-5M
- Oversee all stages of candidate experience and drive consistent
application, screen, interview, and hiring practices
- Partner with leaders to identify talent forecasting, trends,
and placement strategies
- Develop talent acquisition programs and processes that support
the organization's diversity and inclusion strategiesPartner with
Recruitment Marketing to develop and implement contemporary
marketing recruitment strategies and multiple social media sites
- Define new marketing recruiting branding that attracts passive
candidates
- Fully utilize new technologies that increase candidate
pools
- Explore and recommend cutting edge social media strategies to
position Covenant Living ahead of competitionImprove external
sourcing process and new candidate sources, creating innovative
programs, events, to generate brand awareness and build candidate
pipelines
- Build partnership practices with schools (colleges, local high
schools) to establish feeder pools
- Implement international recruiting program for healthcare and
dining
- Establish internship recruiting/practicesLead select senior
leader searches and central office staffing needsIdentify and
implement recruitment efficiencies that maximize recruitment
opportunities
- Establish preferred provider search firm partnerships
- Ensure optimized background check process
- Lead Workday recruiting module and other recruiting technology
platform implementations and optimizationsImprove organization
selection capabilities
- Implement interview skills training
- Explore and recommend assessment tools that improve candidate
successEDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:Required Degree:
BachelorsPreferred Degree: Masters Business
AdministrationCertificate(s):
- SHRM PHR or SPHR a plusExperience:
- 10+ years human resources experience including both corporate
and field experience, with specific experience in talent
acquisition
- Proven experience leading a centralized recruiting model or
business
- Proven experience leading teams across organization and without
direct authority
- Proven experience leading implementation of large company
initiatives across and throughout organization
- Experience in healthcare a plus but not requiredKNOWLEDGE,
