Job Description:
The Business Development Manager plays a key role in driving revenue at CIC Plus. In this position, you will be a trusted advisor to our existing clients and partners using your CIC Plus service expertise and consulting skills to solve their business challenges. You will increase sales performance by working to identify opportunities, develop and expand client relationships, present solutions, and expand existing partnerships within our client base. The Business Development Manager will ensure client expectations are aligned with the CIC Plus offering through close collaboration with CIC Plus internal stakeholders.
The Business Development Manager also will help represent CIC Plus at trade shows and partner events.
The successful candidate must have proven success in a sales capacity within the HCM marketplace. They must have proven strategic, analytical, and consultative sales skills. The candidate should also be a broad-based business thinker who can collaborate effectively with peers as well as all levels of functional and business leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
Increase sales performance by partnering with Sales, Business Development and Alliances to present CIC Plus strategies and business solutions.
Strong functional and technical knowledge of the HCM marketplace.
Strong functional and technical knowledge of the employee life cycle.
Build trust and rapport with multiple stakeholders within a complex selling environment.
Communicate effectively with a sharp focus on the client and their objectives.
Highly organized with the ability to work independently.
Highly adept in presentation and demonstration skills.
Facilitate business and functional discussions with user groups and senior functional directors.
Participate in conferences events and other marketing activities to promote awareness of CIC Plus and our products.
Lead discovery sessions to understand client's business/functional requirements.
Collaborate with CIC Plus stakeholders to configure and align solution to client needs.
Strategic use of competitive knowledge and intelligence.
Ability to work and perform under pressure.
Develop technical competence and functional expertise across CIC Plus offerings.
Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training.
Manage and maintain CIC Plus demonstration environment.

Requirements:
3 years' B2B sales experience including business equipment, services, or software.
1-3 years' experience selling to the HR, payroll, or benefits community.
Proven track record exceeding sales quotas
Goal oriented and ambitious with capacity and drive to reach and exceed quotas.
Demonstrated cold calling sales ability with assertive, positive, and persistent style.
Experience working with and leveraging partner networks.
Proven client service and relationship building skills.
Ability to effectively communicate through all mediums (verbal, listening, written)
Aptitude for acquiring sales skills and product knowledge.
Organized, with effective time management skills.
Ability to work independently and with a team.
General business acumen
Mature and self-confident
Capacity to work under pressure
Strong work ethic
Committed to building a career path.
