The Account Manager will support the Producers and Account Executive by maintaining carrier and client relationships. Is responsible for the teams day to day management on the book of business providing RFG quality level of service. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop strong relationships with client's and insurance carriers key contacts and decision makers
• Oversee all client specific activities across lines of coverage
• Stay on top of industry trends & regulations bringing new ideas to RFG & clients
• Maintain an in depth understanding of client needs & goals, providing service resulting in retention
• Manage proposal & renewal process to obtain best carrier offers by product
• Negotiate carrier quotes & renewals on behalf of clients
• Manage out the RFP process and manage client expectations
• Guide client decision process for best outcome
• Implement new products and services approved by management
• Direct client roll out meetings and enrollment functions
• Collaborate with agents on their clients, prospects and beyond
• Manage the quality & timeliness of deliverables.
• Ensure timely communication to clients, agents, staff & others
• Ability to project manage end to end for self and team members
• Work with vendors to ensure high level of service to RFG & clients
• Assist in setting and maintaining agency management systems including CRM
• Other duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:-- Bachelors or equivalent training plus 5 years Agency experience -- Experience with midmarket lives-- Self-funded experience a plus-- Required to obtain and maintain appropriate licenses as required by state regulations-- Operate with clients, colleagues and vendors using a high level of professionalism & discretion -- Effective problem solving capabilities-- Ability to prioritize, multi-task and handle heavy workload timely, efficiently & professionally-- Polished presentation skills -- Excellent organizational, and time management skills -- Ability to take initiative and make independent decisions -- Flexibility and an outstanding work ethic -- Excellent interpersonal skills with strong written and verbal communication -- Ability to work independently, partner and lead teams to deliver objectives-- Ability to travel to client sites with own transportation
