in transportation and mechanical services, is seeking a Service
Technician 2 to join their team. As a Service Technician 2, you
will be part of the warranty operations support team, focusing on
troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining locomotives and
coaches. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical
skills, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication,
which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title:
Service Technician 2 Location: Chicago, IL Pay Range: $32 Shift:
6:00AM - 2:30PM What's the Job? Support warranty operations for
locomotives and coaches Troubleshoot and analyze mechanical and
electrical failures Perform repairs using mechanical drawings,
schematics, and circuit plans Use diagnostic software and laptops
to assess onboard systems Identify root causes of issues and
recommend corrective actions What's Needed? Experience with
mechanical and electrical parts replacement Proficiency with
multimeters and diagnostic tools Ability to install software and
operate shop machinery Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving
skills Effective communication and teamwork abilities What's in it
