This role requires a deep understanding of network security principles, proficiency in penetration testing, and hands-on experience with Fortinet equipment.   • Network Security Management:
    • Design, implement, and maintain network security policies, procedures, and controls.
    • Monitor and respond to security incidents, ensuring timely resolution and mitigation.
    • Perform regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and address potential threats.
    • Penetration Testing:
      • Conduct penetration tests on network systems, applications, and infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities.
      • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, including internal and external tests.
      • Analyze and report on test results, providing actionable recommendations to enhance security posture.
      • Fortinet Equipment Management:
        • Configure, deploy, and manage Fortinet firewalls, VPNs, and other security appliances.
        • Ensure Fortinet solutions are optimized and up-to-date, addressing any performance or security issues.
        • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Fortinet equipment and network security.
        • Cybersecurity Strategy:
          • Stay informed about emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.
          • Collaborate with other IT and security professionals to develop and refine security strategies.
          • Provide expertise on cybersecurity trends and technologies, recommending improvements as needed.
          • Documentation and Reporting:
            • Maintain detailed documentation of network security configurations, incidents, and changes.
            • Prepare and present security reports and metrics to stakeholders, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
            • Compliance and Standards:
              • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and policies.
              • Participate in audits and assessments to verify adherence to security requirements.Qualifications:
                • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
                • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in network security, with a focus on service provider networks.
                • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, OSCP, or Fortinet NSE are highly desirable.
                • Technical Skills:
                  • Proficiency in network security principles and practices.
                  • Hands-on experience with Fortinet products, including FortiGate, FortiAnalyzer, and FortiManager.
                  • Expertise in penetration testing tools and methodologies (e.g., Nmap, Metasploit, Burp Suite).
                  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and firewall configurations.
                  • Soft Skills:
                    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
                    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
                    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
                    • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of security.
