Medcaid Billing Specialist Responsibilities:


As a medicaid billing specialist you will contact insurance carriers to resolve outstanding balances.

You will follow up on outstanding balances to determine why a claim has not been paid.

You will work with team-members in regards to code processing.

You will provide regular reports of medicaid billing data.


Medicaid Billing Specialist Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.

2 years or more experience in a medicaid billing specialist or similar role.

Knowledge of Medicaid payors.

Highly cultivated attention to detail.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

2 or more years in skilled nursing billing.
