Job Description
Our client, a world-class museum and education center, is looking to bring on a new Accounting Manager ! This role is based out of Skokie (WFH/hybrid).

This Accounting Manager will report directly to the VP of Finance and Operations, manage month end and financial reporting, oversee transactional accounting functions, and continue to work towards most efficient and effective processes! This role offers a competitive base salary up to $90,000 .

Accounting Manager Responsibilities
Oversee accounting functions: timely execution of month end, quarter end, accounts payable responsibilities
Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual financial reporting
Review external accountant's reconciliations
Recognize revenue accurately for multiple revenue streams
Continued effort towards process improvements
Participate in bringing department current on roll forwards (e.g., pledges receivable, detailed investments)

Accounting Manager Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
5+ years accounting and supervisory experience
Non-profit industry experience preferred
Exposure to Quickbooks a plus
